What are we going to do in the first period of our Comenius project?

 As  presented by our partners of Göppingen, in Manresa we are going to assess the quality of the educational process at the Superior VET of Administration & Finances, as a sample of our quality system based on  ISO 9001:2000.

These are the main  features of the sample:

  • Two levels (1st and 2nd course)

  • Two classes at each level: 4 classes

  • About 100 students ranging from 18 to late twenties

 And these are the items we are going to assess:

  • Provision of lessons: percentage of the syllabus (curriculum) which has been taught over a term; number of cancelled lessons, percentage of cancelled lessons, comparison between this percentage and the school’s global percentage of cancelled lessons.

  • Commitment to the development and evolution of the institution: commitment in quality management, number of programmed credits and date of their last revision, writing school books and other teaching material.

  • Examination results of our students: average marks of each credit; average marks of the whole class; percentage of students: a/ who have succeeded the whole course; b/ who have failed one or two credits; c/ who have failed more than two credits. Comparison between these results and the results of the last three years.

  • Assessment of customer satisfaction. Feed back  from our cooperating companies: we are going to carry out a survey with some of our cooperating companies (it is the same one explained to you in Naestved when our quality system was presented.)

  • Assessment of customer satisfaction. Feed back from our students: we are going to carry out different surveys with samples of our students (they are the same ones explained to you in Naestved when our quality system was presented)

As for further training and dual partners, we cannot assess these items because we neither teach further training nor have got dual partners in business and administration courses.

By the end of January 2006, we hope all the surveys will have been translated and we are going to publish them on the Moodle platform.
