Our system description in a nutshell is:

1. Quality system description

The quality system of Tampere College is to function as a tool for management and development. Our quality system was designed to ensure high quality education. Tampere College produces and markets education services to work life and enterprises. Customer satisfaction is our common goal. The process description of our quality system is based on ISO 9000 -standard, but we apply EFQM quality standard parallelly. Our quality system has features of both of the systems.

2. How do you evaluate educational/learning processes?

We evaluate educational/learning processes based on information gathered multiple ways from students, staff and statistical sources. We have several parallel systems for information collection. This information forms a basis for decision-making. BSC system is applied in evaluation of management. The evaluation of learning results is based on comparing the student performance compared to the competencies described in the curricula of vocational qualifications.
